2.1 Personal information submitted to us through our website will be used for the purposes specified in this policy or on the relevant pages of the website.

(c) send you goods purchased through our website (including sending shipping information required to a 3rd party fulfillment partner);

If no permission or Licence is granted by you, no information will be published. (This does not include any public social media (i.e., Instagram) photos you may have uploaded and tagged us in which are automatically aggregated on our website).
2.4 We will not, without your express consent, supply your personal information to any third party for the purpose of their or any other third party's direct marketing.

3.3 Except as provided in this policy, we will not provide your personal information to third parties.
4. International data transfers
4.1 Information that we collect may be stored and processed in and transferred between any of the countries in which we operate (currently this only includes Singapore) in order to enable us to use the information in accordance with this policy.
4.2 Information that we collect may be transferred to the following countries which do not have data protection laws equivalent to those in force in the European Economic Area: Singapore.
4.3 Personal information that you publish on our website or submit for publication on our website may be available, via the internet, around the world. We cannot prevent the use or misuse of such information by others.
4.4 You expressly agree to the transfers of personal information described in this Section 4.
5. Retaining personal information
5.1 This Section 5 sets out our data retention policies and procedure, which are designed to help ensure that we comply with our legal obligations in relation to the retention and deletion of personal information.

6.2 All electronic financial transactions entered into through our website are protected by the encryption technology of Shopify, Stripe, and PayPal.
6.3 You acknowledge that the transmission of information over the internet can be inherently insecure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet.
7. Third party websites
7.1 Our website includes hyperlinks to, and details of, third party websites.
7.2 We have no control over, and are not responsible for, the privacy policies and practices of these third parties.
8. Shopify and 3rd Party Apps
8.1 We use Shopify to host our website, update its design and functionality, and manage our customer list and information. This includes using tools embedded in the Shopify site builder and 3rd party apps approved by and offered through the Shopify platorm to add another layer of functionality.
8.2 We rely on Shopify to protect the data it receives from you, our customer. Shopify operate under accordance of the latest privacy laws.
8.3 In addition to the "Product Review" Shopify app that enables users to submit a product review directly through our website, we also use the following apps available through the Shopify platform:
(a) "Product Review addon," by Stamped.io. This app gives us the ability to automatically email customers who have made a purchase from us and request a product review from them. We are currently sending two emails via this app to all recent customers, including one initial request sent at 14 days after purchase and a final request / reminder sent 7 days after the initial request. Information shared with this 3rd party include your name, email address, and purchased product information.
9.2 Cookies may be either "persistent" cookies or "session" cookies: a persistent cookie will be stored by a web browser and will remain valid until its set expiry date, unless deleted by the user before the expiry date; a session cookie, on the other hand, will expire at the end of the user session, when the web browser is closed.
9.3 Cookies do not typically contain any information that personally identifies a user, but personal information that we store about you may be linked to the information stored in and obtained from cookies.
9.4 We use both session and persistent cookies on our website.
9.5 The names of the cookies that we use on our website, and the purposes for which they are used, are set out below:
(a) We use the following cookies via Google Analytics to gather data on website visitors that can help us further improve our website and market more effectively online:
1. _ga to recognise a computer when a user visits our website, which expires in 2 years
2. _gat to throttle the request rate of the site, which expires in 10 minutes
4. __utmt to throttle the request rate
7. __utmv to store visitor-level custom variable data. This cookie is created when a developer uses the _setCustomVar
method with a visitor level custom variable. This cookie was also used for the deprecated _setVar method. The cookie is updated every time data is sent to Google Analytics.
(b) We use other cookies for the Shopping Cart, so it will remember the items you placed inside.
(c) This list may not be exhaustive and will be updated as other cookies are added or identified.
9.6 Most browsers allow you to refuse to accept cookies; for example:
(a) in Internet Explorer (version 11) you can block cookies using the cookie handling override settings available by clicking "Tools", "Internet Options", "Privacy" and then "Advanced";
(b) in Firefox (version 47) you can block all cookies by clicking "Tools", "Options", "Privacy", selecting "Use custom settings for history" from the drop-down menu, and unticking "Accept cookies from sites"; and
(c) in Chrome (version 52), you can block all cookies by accessing the "Customise and control" menu, and clicking "Settings", "Show advanced settings" and "Content settings", and then selecting "Block sites from setting any data" under the "Cookies" heading.
9.7 Blocking all cookies will have a negative impact upon the usability of many websites.

9.9 You can delete cookies already stored on your computer; for example:
(b) in Firefox (version 47), you can delete cookies by clicking "Tools", "Options" and "Privacy", then selecting "Use custom settings for history" from the drop-down menu, clicking "Show Cookies", and then clicking "Remove All Cookies"; and

10. Facebook Retargeting
10.2 Users can opt-out of the collection and use of information for Facebook ad targeting from our website by contacting us via email with a request to 'Remove me from your Facebook Custom Audience Database.' Please allow a week for us to process your removal.
10.3 Please note that we also advertise to Facebook users based on other characteristics including demographics, interests, and 'likes,' and though we may have removed you from our Custom Audience, you may still see our ads on Facebook due to these characteristics.
10.4 You can access a mechanism for exercising related ad choices by visiting http://www.aboutads.info/choices and http://www.youronlinechoices.eu/. These websites are in no way related to www.kovlife.com.
11.1 We may update this policy from time to time by publishing a new version on our website.
11.2 You should check this page occasionally to ensure you are happy with any changes to this policy, and we will send any updates of it to those who subscribe to our site.
